Steve Grossman

Steve began his thirty-seven-year career with Hilliard Lyons in Nashville TN before becoming a part of Baird. Steve moved to Lexington in 1990 to serve in the capacity of Branch Manager later serving as Complex Manager and Regional Director. Steve was inducted into the Junior Achievement Central Kentucky Business Hall of Fame in 2015. Steve continues to serve in a leadership role within Baird and throughout the Lexington market and was named Baird’s 2020 Branch Manager of the Year.

A graduate of Carson-Newman College and Auburn University, he also graduated from the Security Industry Institute at the Wharton School of Business in Philadelphia, PA. He holds the FINRA Series 7, 8, 63, and 65 licenses.

Outside of Baird Steve is an involved member of the Lexington community having served on numerous boards and foundations. He currently sits on boards serving Shaker Village at Pleasant Hill, The Downtown Lexington Partnership, and University of Kentucky Gaines Center for the Humanities, The Triangle Foundation and UK Sanders Brown Center of Aging. In his free time, he enjoys spending time with his wife Patty, fox hunting and horseback riding, dog breeding and golf.

Meg began her career with Hilliard Lyons in 2013 after three years coaching collegiate athletics at Ohio Wesleyan University. Meg was a third generation Hilliard Lyons employee following in the footsteps of her father, Steve and grandfather. Meg and her father teamed up in 2016 where they worked together to develop investment strategies for clients to help meet their financial goals. Meg also works closely with clients to create and implement financial plans and wealth management strategies.

Meg is a graduate of Allegheny College in Meadville, PA where she earned a degree in Managerial Economics. Since returning to Lexington, she has become involved in the Lexington community serving on different boards. She currently serves on the board of the High Street YMCA. She has co-founded a girls club lacrosse program for central Kentucky and serves as a coach for lacrosse and basketball at The Lexington School. Meg holds her FINRA Series 7, Series 66 as well as Life and Health Insurance licenses.

Outside the office she enjoys spending time with her husband, Kyle, their daughter, Ellie, traveling, baking, and continuing to coach when able.

Shelly joined The Grossman Sutton Group in 2018. She is an asset to the team as she provides a high level of service to clients in addition to enhancing team processes. Prior to joining The Grossman Sutton Group, she was serving in a role at the US Hunter Jumper Association and worked in the equine industry for five years. Shelly holds her FINRA Series 7 and Series 66 licenses.
